Company · Why we exist

Infringing filings are public from day one. We built Dmarkb so they are noticed then.

Every trademark register publishes what is filed. The information has always been there. What has been missing is a way to read all of it, continuously, against the marks a business depends on.

§ 01The story

The expensive part is finding out late.

A confusingly similar mark usually announces itself quietly: one line in a trademark journal, a domain registered overnight, a listing on a marketplace. At that moment it can often be dealt with through a straightforward opposition or a polite letter.

Months later it looks very different. The filing has registered, the product is on shelves, customers have seen both names. The same conflict now costs more, takes longer and carries more risk.

Manual watches struggle with the volume, and keyword alerts miss the respellings and lookalikes that cause real confusion. Dmarkb reads every new filing, domain and listing in scope, scores it the way a person would compare two marks, and documents anything that crosses the line, so the decision can be made while it is still an easy one.

§ 02Principles

Three rules the product is built on.

01

Evidence over accusation

We never tell you something infringes. We show you what was found, where and how similar it is, and let the facts carry the conversation.

02

Flag it early, decide with counsel

The value of a watch is time. We surface conflicts while the cheapest options are still open, then step back so you and your counsel decide.

03

Precision over noisy alerts

An alert nobody reads protects nothing. Scoring and thresholds exist so every flag is worth the minute it takes to open.

Start with the marks you already own.

A short audit shows how Dmarkb would watch them, before you commit to a plan.
