Every new application in your classes, read as it publishes.
Registers publish applications in bulk. Dmarkb reads each one, keeps the ones in your classes and jurisdictions, and scores them against your marks before a person ever needs to look.
§ 01What a scan covers
Built around how registers actually publish.
New applications
Fresh filings are picked up as soon as the register makes them available, so a lookalike is seen at the earliest point.
Publications and journals
Marks advertised for opposition are tracked separately, because that is when your window to object opens.
Status changes
A flagged filing is followed through its life: published, opposed, registered, abandoned or withdrawn.
Class filtering
Limit the watch to the Nice classes you trade in, or widen it for a mark with a reputation that crosses categories.
Jurisdiction scope
Choose the registers that matter to your business. Coverage is confirmed during onboarding and listed in your watch profile.
Known exceptions
Add your own filings, licensees or agreed coexistence marks so they are recognised and never raised as conflicts.
§ 02Class-based filtering
Watch the 45 Nice classes you choose, not all of them.
Most marks are registered in a handful of classes. Filtering keeps the watch focused on the goods and services where confusion could actually occur. Try it: select the classes a sample brand would trade in.

Candidates outside these classes are not flagged, unless you choose to include related classes for a mark with a wider reputation.
§ 03What every scan records
The filing details counsel will ask for, captured up front.
When a candidate is scored, the engine stores the register details alongside the score. Nothing needs to be looked up again when the report is compiled.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Which registers do you monitor?
Coverage is set per account. During your mark audit we confirm the national and regional registers for the jurisdictions you trade in, and those registers are listed in your watch profile before monitoring starts.
How soon after filing is a new application picked up?
Filings are read once the register makes them publicly available, on the scan cadence of your plan. Some registers publish applications on filing, others only on examination or advertisement.
Can I watch classes I am not registered in?
Yes. Brands with a reputation beyond their registered goods often watch related classes too, such as apparel marks also watching leather goods and retail services.
Will my own filings show up as conflicts?
No. Your own applications, and any licensee or coexistence marks you add as known exceptions, are recognised and excluded from flagging.
