01Scope
This policy applies to the Dmarkb website, the sign-up and contact forms, and the Dmarkb monitoring service, including watch profiles, flags, evidence reports and renewal alerts.
02Data we collect
Information you provide
- Name, work email, company or firm name and designation.
- The marks you ask us to monitor, their classes and jurisdictions, and your threshold settings.
- Messages you send through the contact form or to support.
- Your decisions on flags, such as dismissing or marking a conflict as resolved.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data needed to serve and secure the website, such as IP address, browser type and request times in server logs.
- A session cookie used by the security check on our forms.
03Public source data
To run monitoring, the engine processes information that is already published: trademark filings and publications, domain registration records and public marketplace listings. These records can include the names of applicants, registrants or sellers. We use them only to detect and document potential conflicts with marks our customers have asked us to watch.
04How we use data
- To create your account and send your login details.
- To run the watch you configure and deliver flags, reports and alerts.
- To respond to audit requests and support messages.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse of our forms.
- To meet legal obligations that apply to us.
06Retention
Account data, scan history and evidence reports are kept while your account is active. After an account is closed, they are deleted once any legal retention duty has been met. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle the request.
07Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to the account it belongs to. Internal access is limited to what support and operations require. More detail is on our Data & Security page.
08Your choices and rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing.
To make a request, write to us through the contact page. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.
09Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data in a meaningful way, we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email.
