Public records in. Your account data protected. Nothing more collected.
Monitoring works on information that registers, domain systems and marketplaces already publish. The only private data we hold is what you give us to run your watch, and it is handled with the same care as the evidence we produce.
§ 01What data is used
Two kinds of data, kept apart.
Public source data
Trademark filings and publications, domain registration records and public marketplace listings. This is the material the engine scans and scores.
Your account data
Your contact details, the marks you ask us to monitor, their classes and jurisdictions, your thresholds and your decisions on flags. Nothing beyond what is needed to run the watch.
§ 02Retention
Kept as long as it is useful to you.
- Scan history
- Kept while your account is active, so earlier results can be reviewed.
- Evidence reports
- Kept while your account is active. Export any report at any time.
- After closure
- Account data and reports are deleted after closure, once any legal retention duty is met.
- On request
- You can ask for your account data to be exported or deleted.
§ 03Protection
Security practices, stated plainly.
Encryption in transit
All traffic between you and Dmarkb travels over TLS.
Encryption at rest
Account data, scan history and reports are stored encrypted.
Access control
Accounts see only their own marks, flags and reports. Firm portfolios are separated per client.
Least privilege
Internal access to customer data is limited to what support and operations require.
No resale
Your account data is never sold or shared for advertising.
No private scraping
The engine does not collect private or login-protected data about anyone.
The boundary
A monitoring and evidence tool, not a law firm.
Dmarkb detects, scores and documents. It does not give legal advice, decide whether something infringes, file oppositions or send notices. Those decisions, and every filing, remain with you and your counsel.
